So I had a great time Sunday at commencement with my students. Sunday afternoon my lower back started hurting. I thought the cause maybe when I worked my back and upper body heavy on Saturday at the gym. I woke up Monday and my back was still hurting but worse. I worked all day and then I went to urgent care after work. The NP strongly suggested I go to the emergency room. So last night I went in thinking I had a pulled muscle...nah as it turns out I have a kidney stone (5mm) and they kept me overnight. So this afternoon I will get the kidney stone removed. Ugh at least they gave me some great pain meds. Also the nurse asked "is your forearm swollen? Oh ok you have a strong biceps and triceps.

The way I want to get out this bed and get some frozen pineapple. However, who does not feel like taking out their Invisalign and having to brush and floss his teeth again is me. Lol.
