Being 76 years old, I worry that my children and grandchildren will see this ever increasing anti-semitic and anti-Israeli behavior. Israel is the one democracy that is still a cradle for western values. It has a diverse population of religions and ethnicities. It occupies one small strip of land. But it is not going anywhere. Many people and nations want to destroy it. But I believe it will stand the test of time. As a proud American who loves my country, I am gratified that we are standing with Israel during this hellish time. I also stand with the Jewish communities whether they're in the United States, the United Kingdom, France, Israel or anywhere in the world. We just want to go about our lives like everybody else does and live in peace.

Elisa Slotkin, the Senator from Michigan, was on the Bill Maher show on HBO this past weekend. She went through that same talking point, that all the Democrats are echoing, that there was 'no plan.' She tried to buttress that opinion by talking about her role with the CIA and her three tours of duty in Iraq as if that experience made her an expert in military planning. Of course there was planning! There was a coordination of effort with Israel and we all witnessed and our witnessing the results. I guess if you say a lie a number of times, eventually it becomes true, but for only those who stop questioning it.

@hahussain I am very wary of Turkey's intentions. The thought of them trying to manipulate and fill the void if and when Iran's total collapse takes place is very troubling. Their actions need to be monitored.

Saudi, Egypt and Pakistan are weightless and irrelevant to the way things unfold in the Middle East. Turkey is using the three and doing what it can to inherit the Islamist Iran empire if the Iranians weaken or collapse. Israel will block Turkish Muslim Brotherhood like it’s fighting the Islamist Iranian Empire. My money is on, and my support is behind, the Israelis.

@JohnnyNash77 It may be finished with those members who aren't pulling their weight. But for the other members, it would be nice if they had an exclusive 'club' with the United States.

NATO is finished. When America asks for help, you better show up. They never forget. See below 👇 Spain has now completely closed its airspace to US airforce planes.

If Iran occupied Strait of Hormuz, next it will grab the Kuwait/Saudi Durra energy field it disputed with these two nations. It might also take a bigger share, even most of, Qatar's North Dome field, perhaps annex Bahrain too, which regime officials often call an Iranian province. Where is Saudi Arabia, the regional weight of the Arabs? Missing in action. Qatar? as Islamist as always believing Sunni Turkey and Al-Qaeda can offset Shia Islamist Iran. Oman? Bending over. If these three Gulf countries don't take an aggressive posture toward Iran, like the UAE, Bahrain and Kuwait did, they will regret their current policy in the future.

Iraq was sending its 'elite' force, the Republican Guard, and invaded Kuwait - a conventional way of using military force. They didn't have the missile capability (and drones were not ready for primetime). They didn't pose the threat that Iran is currently imposing including their long-range missiles that a couple of weeks ago attacked Diego Garcia around 2,500 miles away. Just to clarify, NATO countries are not permitted to to engage in military action outside of their geographical area according to the NATO charter. However many countries, who were NATO members, participated in the coalition but not as NATO. So today, NATO countries can use the NATO charter to say that they are not allowed to participate as NATO in this conflict.

Why did NATO allies follow Bush in Iraq but refuse to follow Trump in Iran? What exactly has changed? What is the "problem" now? Or should I rather say: WHO is the problem??

In 2003, France and Germany refused to join the US in Iraq because the UN security Council didn't authorize it. And NATO, as an entity, could not participate because it was outside the geographical area as defined in NATO's charter. In 1991, France, the UK, Italy, Canada, Norway, Denmark, the Netherlands, Belgium, Portugal, Greece, and Spain, all joined the coalition but not as NATO entities since it was outside NATO's geographic area as defined by the NATO charter, as well.

@Jf8137 @Arrogance_0024 You’re thinking of the wrong war. The invasion of Iraq under W was illegal under international law and based on bullshit about fake WMDs.

It should be self-evident that a group of NATO countries today are dealing with dramatic demographic changes in their populations. The Western values they once held during the time of the Iraq War have diminished greatly. The socialist regimes of some of the NATO countries are bowing to the new influx of Middle Eastern refugees and asylum seekers. Their support of democracies in the past has been replaced by the fear of and, therefore, the tacit support of a terrorist Islamic regime and it's acolytes.

President Trump posting raw footage of massive explosions ripping through Isfahan, Iran, followed by confirmed U.S.-Israeli airstrikes, sends one unmistakable message: the Islamic regime’s war machine is being dismantled in real time. The heartbreaking reality is that these facilities fueled the missiles, drones, and terror proxies that have murdered American troops, rained rockets on Israeli families, and attacked shipping lanes for years. Every fireball and shockwave represents justice for the innocent blood spilled under Qur’anic commands for jihad and Jewish extermination. This is the strength and moral clarity President Trump has demanded since the 1980s. Maximum pressure works. Weakness and Obama-style cash only emboldened the mullahs and cost more lives. While Iran targets civilians in Jerusalem, America and Israel are systematically destroying the regime’s ability to wage holy war. The Iranian people are suffering because their leaders chose terror over peace. The regime alone bears responsibility for every strike. Keep hitting them hard. No mercy for a death cult that celebrates slaughter. The blood of past victims demands nothing less than the permanent defeat of this evil. America and Israel standing together is the right path.

Spain is its own worst enemy. They're pretty inconsequential to the way the US shapes its foreign policy. We don't have to make Spain that more important by refusing them airspace or kicking their embassy out of the country. We welcome Spanish citizens who appreciate the United States and want to visit our country. Their country's government doesn't represent them.

You wonder why I celebrate the death penalty for terrorists? This is Arafat Irfaiya, a Palestinian who kidnapped, raped, and beheaded a 19-year-old Jewish woman in February 2019. In court, he smiled and said: “I made my parents proud by murdering a Jewish woman." That's why.
