FIIs buying ₹2,835 cr in one day looks bullish.
Context: they sold ₹8,048 cr on 30 April alone.
One day of buying after weeks of selling isn’t a trend. It’s a bounce.

The lobbying by banks (PMO, MoF, anybody else who will listen) to 'equalise' the tax on bank interest and capital gains on stocks (mutual funds are the main target) is off the charts. They managed to do this to debt funds two budgets ago, now the target is equity funds.
If bank branches would not force people away from deposits into useless life insurance plans, banks would have at least another Rs 80,000 crore each year in deposits.
But no, they want it both ways. Earn the commissions and kill a product that is actually working for people.

I have seen people make wealth just from doing white-labelling business. In Ludhiana, there are many large garment manufacturing units that do white-label manufacturing for brands in India and around the world. Employing more than 1000 people and having revenue in three digits in cr. White labelling manufacturing business is the easiest thing to do if you can master your product line. In India, we need more world-class white-label manufacturing plants to export to the world. This is the only way to transform Indian manufacturing sector.
