#USMNT striker Folarin Balogun on his immediate reaction to red card: “I think it was just important to stay calm. I never want to react out of anger and out of emotion. There’s still lots of people we’re inspiring, little kids, boys and girls who are watching, and we have to show them the correct way to handle things, even when you think it's unjust.” On shaking ref’s hand postgame: “As said, you can feel like something, injustice can happen to you. It’s not an excuse to be disrespectful… I'm aware that the World Cup might be the first time a lot of American viewers are tuning in. So it's important just to show people, whether things happen to you, good or bad, just to continue to be yourself.”

Has Ricardo Pepi looked good this World Cup? Quite frankly, no. However, he was fantastic against Senegal this summer right before the WC started. The same Senegal that had the win against Belgium in the bag before they blew it. Have faith in Pepi, he can perform.

Having been called back to public service after almost a decade in private life & on the eve of America's 250th, I am deeply honored. Will have more to say about this, but for now, thank you to my family (especially my wife Laura -- it is our anniversary today!), my friends, and my colleagues for their support in this endeavor. I am humbled by the trust that's being put in me by the federal government as well as regional stakeholders of @bonnevillepower to lead an institution whose history is synonymous with the development of the Pacific Northwest and which has been an important source of America's strength. It is bittersweet to be leaving what I am up to today at @basepowerco, but I look forward to this challenge. Please send your prayers my way as I take the oath of office next Monday in Portland.

This Roll Call story highlights how legislation gets done. The Geothermal Energy Advancement Act began as several bipartisan efforts. By bringing six geothermal bills together into a single package, we were able to move meaningful legislation through the House and one step closer to becoming law. That’s how Congress is supposed to work: identify a problem, build a coalition, and keep moving solutions forward. Next stop: the Senate. #CO03 Check out the article here: rollcall.com/2026/06/03/con…
