Such an amazing invention. I was thinking long ago after the discovery of a silent speech LLM, why this would be set up purely to breach privacy and then to use as a tool to literally keep someone completely voiceless and a ‘slave’ to them forever when it could be used for a positive reason. I then discovered it was more so only a predictive version to be edited and manipulated anyway so it was only breaching visual privacy by reading. I couldn’t imagine how participants would feel after being able to restore autonomy to those who had medical needs ♥️
