This win will boost our FIFA ranking. Iran are ranked 20th and we're ranked 26th. In a scenario where Iran has to pull out of the World Cup and FIFA wants to replace them with the next highest ranked team, we're in a good position for that to happen as long as both Italy and Denmark qualify via playoffs.
