@jildazz Arachnoid granulations (AG) is the most common cause of IIH, and AG is soft. No post dilate needed with over 20 cases I have seen. For your case, the stenosis was likely due to the size irregularity of the transverse sigmoid segment and Casper is poor in design to make it nice.

@CWong94262 Interesting. Any hemorrhage risk associated with post dilatation?

@jildazz Acclino 8mm is closed cell with very little metal coverage, so even post dilatation is required, the passage of the balloon is very un-likely to cause damage on the stent. With Casper, the passage of the balloon could potential make the damage if the stent is stenotic.

@CWong94262 Thanks for your input and recommendations The stent was finally not implanted In your experience Acclino stent has more radial force than the CASPER stent, interesting, I will consider it next time. What if it does not expand neither ??

@jildazz Pull the stent out, that stent looks poorly designed (material, braiding…). It will damage the patient rather than help no matter how hard you have tried intra-op. It will become embolization device very soon.
