i think the biggest misconception abt mike surrounding his trauma is that like not a lot happened to him sure. but he was constantly watching the ppl he loves go through the worst things that could happen and he couldn’t do anything. he just had to watch. that is also traumatic

So my daughter had a test and asked her teacher if she was going to grade them over the weekend so she could know her grade on Monday. Her teachers reply “I’m not spending my weekend grading papers.” Okay then.. moving forward my children will not spending their after school hours doing hours of homework. They will not spending their weekend working on projects. They can do that during school time then.

I had access to screens my entire life (video games, computers, TV, iPod touch, later smart phones) & graduated high school in 2015. I did all those things. I even went to grad school bc I like school. Teachers didn’t complain about us the way they do about kids now.

Apparently there are people who shower at night instead of the morning. I genuinely want to understand this. Night shower people… explain yourselves

In 2008, 62% of teachers said they were very satisfied with their job. In 2022, that dropped to 12%. We've got a serious problem brewing in education...
