I wanted to make this clear regarding the tour launch today. We are starting with the 16 hand selected top golfers in the creater world, not all of which are giant names. The selection was based first on skill, then personality. However, our goal is to evolve even bigger and host massive qualifiers in the future. We want this to be a viable option for players that have maybe given up on pro golf but are great competitors. There are so many incredible players out there that deserve a chance to compete. That is what YGT is all about.

@TourSwingsTommy I stopped caring about how far I hit my driver a long time ago, because you can't outrun getting old. I moved up a tee box, and have been enjoying the game again because I get to hit shorter irons into par 4's and par 3's, and now I can get closer to the par 5's in 2.

If you’re playing with someone who tells you they hit their driver 210 yards, you’re about to have a great round. Means the guy has zero ego and knows his game. It’s mind-blowing how many guys out there supposedly drive the ball 270 yards. Where are they?

I have been playing for 40 years. My avg distance is probably 220 at 56 years old. I would say the average golfer is about that 210 mark. We do have a bunch of flat belly, 30 somethings at the club that just kill that ball. They are hitting their 5 irons 210. Just a different game! We all have fun though..
