If you go to a shoot out 0-0…both goalies are credited with a shutout in individual stats, but only the winning team gets a team shutout. Don’t hold me to it but pretty sure that’s the case? x.com/gallowshumor79…

Same team yes! But if you are preventing a player from the other team of recovering his dropped stick. It could be interference! Would not have been the case as I think the stick was on the ice from the previous shift?

I was hoping for it but the foul has to be from behind and it looked like 27 was locked up with 14...no space between the players so it was difficult to say the foul was from behind?

Did not get any explanation...but assuming they felt the video was inconclusive. We felt our views showed 27's stick was the contact point and not 55's, but very tough to see...great goaltending by Forsberg!

Maybe the most difficult rule enforcement situation in all of sports! Fast skating, fast puck movement, bodies getting in the way…entries are so close, with inches being the difference…impossible to be perfect in real time!!!!

Refs are refs and linemen are linesmen...the only time they change responsibilities is someone gets injured in game and can't continue...
