@randomranger Really bright interesting fella when you meet him. Was a sponsor at an FAW event c.22 years ago. Bellamy on the table. Couldn't have been more impressed with him. We bonded over trying to help Leon Jeanne. Didn't know how far out of his way he went for him at Cardiff. Top bloke.
English

I would have Bellamy at QPR in a heartbeat. Plays fast, aggressive, attacking football. Wants to win. Would suit us.
Matthew Southcombe@MattSouth7
Behind Craig Bellamy's words today was a gritty belief that his side is ready for what lies ahead. His presser today almost turned into a 40-minute rallying cry. ⚽️🏴 @ITVWales
English

@ArchiveWembley @Awaydays23 It was a ramp-up event. A test event. So not technically the first official match as original poster said.
English

@Awaydays23 Giampaolo Pazzini scores the first goal and the subsequent hat-trick in front of 55k fans

@TheSolarShed @myles_premium_ Sorry to hear that.
You've been a great help as I've been trying to find out about solar. Hoping to install something in the SW when we move soon (he said hopefully)
English

@JimFrayling @myles_premium_ that's all we can do, what the bots and fossil lobby attacking me do not realise though is that I have severe mental issues that keep me awake and driven on a path 24/7
I'm relentless of this stuff... bring it on
English

So a space about the size of 5 Greater London's covering every inch of land with solar panels. They'd have to make up a whole new number to describe the cost of this project. "A Zukillion pounds"
Kevin Holland@TheSolarShed
Covering 3% of the UK with solar would generate as much electricity as the UK uses in a year. We have the solutions.
English

@TheSolarShed @myles_premium_ Keep fighting the good fight Kevin.
English

@myles_premium_ 6% of uk land is built on.
8% is grouse Moore.
Perspective.
English

@MarkofGrove @fulltimeopinion Lovely bloke. Married to a mate of mine from primary school.
Supports *the* wrong team.
English

@fulltimeopinion I met Justin Rose at the BMW at Wentworth last year and had a short chat. He said he is one of the best blokes on the tour amd genuinely one of the best people hes ever played with.
High praise as Rose is also one them.
English

@Adammargolis @LoftforWords Ps hello by the way and please return to the list pronto!
English

@Adammargolis @LoftforWords Boro clearly bricking it about Paul Smyth’s fitness. Or whether Poku might do 20 from the bench.
English

Typical, even the first class counties can't stop them putting football pitches on the outfield and ruining the ground!

The look and feel of cricket returning imminently! #WeAreDerbyshire
English

@MattWinton2 Because your behaviour is concerning?
I’ll stop now, said my piece.
English

@JimFrayling Jim, advice is best when it’s invited.
Constant correction isn’t helpful, and I’m not sure why you think it’s your responsibility.
English

We actually have fans like this. Very low IQ stuff
Dan@_Dan_1882
Idk what it is but I just can’t take to the bloke, at 1-1 we were wasting time and looked happy for the point. Bennie has kept our season alive
English

@JimFrayling You are welcome. Always feel like I have missed something when I have finished. Interesting note that the player trading model forms the largest component of their financial planning to meet FFP.
English

The QPR Finances 2024-25 are already here - I will keep everything on this thread.

As ever - Thank you for taking the time to read through this, happy to answer any questions you may have and go into more detail if anyone would like. Hope you all enjoy and finally - COME ON U R'sss #QPR #QPRfinances

@W12Podcast Madsen and Eze would more than match them. Both have really strong passing. Walker allows you to recover from any situation and Smithies a better keeper than Kenny at shot saving/blocking.
Finally I suspect @kevingallen10 's all round play and finishing to be more useful in 5s
English

@W12Podcast Great question. Enough to make me stop lurking on here. I have thought about this. A lot.
Most people are wrong to choose A. 5 a side limits Les's great strengths of pace and spring. You need passing and skill to beat a man one on one. Taarabt and Buzsaky formidable, but...
English

On the pod this week we did a 5 aside game.
Settle this... Which team wins;
A- Kenny, Hill, Tarrabt, Buzaky, Ferdinand
B - Stejskal, McDonald, Wilkins, Faurlin, Austin
C - Deing, Dunne, Rowlands, Sinclair, Helguson
D- Smithies, Walker, Madsen, Eze, Gallen
#qpr
English

@hazzacarter Because he’s extremely talented and just needed to settle in and get used to the championship etc Also I think Julien really gets him and his attributes
English

How had Madsen become the best player at the club by an absolute country mile? 🤣 #QPR
English

@dangerrice Or just play them both up top, but only one winger on the left with the RM tucking in.
442 in possession 451 out.
We’ve only really got Morgan who can do that narrow RM role a la Ray Parlour. Need someone mobile who can pass.
Reckon this would work for home games.
English

Would like to see Kone and Burrell compete for number 9 going forward. Chair/Vale/Morgan to challenge for number 10. #qpr
English

@Acko1963 @dangerrice @DavidEFraser With @danerrice and @acko1963 on this. Although, I have to admit there have been times I've thought you might be right.
English

@dangerrice @DavidEFraser Yep , otherwise it’s a bit ‘ Reading FC ‘ like in the first of the Briatore years
English

A hill I will die on is that we look great in blue shorts, they are infinitely better than white and they should be our default home kit.
Keep coming here for the big analysis
