@ACTBrigitte Well said. I wish we were wise/good enough in this day and age to modify the document for current times but I fear us too much to even try. It needs some tweaks to protect privacy and a Balanced Budget Amendment. I think pretty much all Americans could agree on those two things.

@KATVJames Yes it's May but last night at 2 AM the temp was 43 degrees. Eleven degrees above freezing. Think young plants are thriving under those conditions? They look sickly and yellowed and stunted. Glad most seed still isn't planted cause it wouldn't do well.

Tomorrow we begin the final month of peak season here in Arkansas! Sometimes May can be quiet, but other times it can be just as active or more active than April. While the beginning of the month will be quiet, we're probably not done just yet.

@therabbithole There is a concerted effort by the progressives to alter history eradicating that of which they do not approve based on Presentism. The idea that values of today should be inflicted on the situations of the past and judged on that basis. Implication being that they are "better"

The nuances and complexities of history are lost on some people and it shows.
