@nickreeves9876 The best way to 'carry on the fight' here is to leave. Twitter is withering away to become another Truth Social catering onlu to MAGAs and russian bots.
There's no point in giving them oxygen.
English

@bratzyujin Nope. I tried it 6 months ago but it didn't have the critical mass or the content then.
Now it has!!
English

@snb19692 Do it asap and make it your main or only.
(Its way better. I just popped back to change my profile here)
English

@TRACEYBTHIERRY @wartranslated For example, transferring technology that will help Ukraine in its domestic military production could be more valuable than a few missiles that have to be used in the short term.
English

@JimMBuzz @wartranslated Putin would already be very angry and Trump would not tolerate the way his old pal would talk of USA. Biden's move would be a smart one. A farewell present to the Republicans.
English

The Telegraph: "Sir Keir Starmer and Emmanuel Macron are expected to plot a last-ditch attempt to thwart Donald Trump's efforts to scale back US support for Ukraine.
The British and French leaders will discuss on Monday whether Joe Biden, the US president, can be persuaded to give Ukraine permission to fire Storm Shadow missiles deep into Russia, according to UK Government insiders."

English

@RealFlameDuck @JohnDoe75692933 @wartranslated Xi to offer Trump a big (personal) deal will be enough for him to say " this isn't our fight" and that's all that is needed.
English

@JimMBuzz @JohnDoe75692933 @wartranslated Yeah, that is worrying. Thankfully most Americans still think of China as adversarial, like they used to with Russia. So until we see Tucker Carlson visit a Supermarket in Beijing and "radicalize you" over how cheap everything is, I'd wager Taiwan is still fairly safe.
English

@RealFlameDuck @JohnDoe75692933 @wartranslated If Trump sells out Ukraine you can be sure that China will move on Taiwan because this is an opportunity for them that might never be repeated.
English

@JohnDoe75692933 @JimMBuzz @wartranslated Because the US government doesn't work as fast or as well as you seem to believe. I think Ukraine, and maybe to a lesser extent Taiwan, are pretty much fucked the next 4 years sadly.
English

@JohnDoe75692933 @Cristia68272892 @wartranslated Its not GPS. Anyway Europe has its own system.
It's that Biden threatened less support for Ukr if UK/FR allowed their use.
English

@JimMBuzz @Cristia68272892 @wartranslated But a flaw that is not easily fixed as the targeting system uses GPS and the GPS system is US owned.
Without specific chips with much higher accuracy these missiles are not good.
Why do you suppose the russians and China has made GloNass and BeiDou (Because they need accuracy)

@smertvoroham1 @FoxBrambleFarm @P_Kallioniemi @V3l0c1_r4pt0r You win the fight here by killing the platform. And you do that by leaving, just like the advertisers did.
English

@P_Kallioniemi Maybe add your blue link to your profile or your linktree?
English

@AaltoC @Uka1961 @P_Kallioniemi Then stay here or truth social. There will be plenty of well balanced bots to read.
English

@Uka1961 @P_Kallioniemi I have a feeling it’s a liberal bubble. I’m conservative, and I find X well balanced.
English

@CanadianKobzar @P_Kallioniemi This place is not going to get fixed. Let it become Truth Social 2.0 and it can fight with them for the same audience.
English

@P_Kallioniemi Disagree. We go there, then the Ukrainian voice is lost here. Escaping to an echo chamber isn’t going to help us stop russian disinformation.
English

@Bernie7Ng @Gerashchenko_en Putin is reminding Trump who is the boss.
English

@Gerashchenko_en This suggests Putin is distressed with Trump's talks with Zelensky and has let loose his attack dogs on Trump. Good sign for Ukraine.
English

@PStyle0ne1 Was Trump sharing his possible cabinet appointments with Putin?
English

@PStyle0ne1 Classic Putin response will be to cause a crisis or escalation around the time of Trumps inauguration. When Trumps backs down then, it will set the tone for their ongoing relationship.
English

@ConComComCon @wartranslated And yet they live in a country so rich in natural resources that, even half properly run, they could have a standard of living of Norwegian levels.
English

@wartranslated It's all about Russians compensating for their low self-worth. If the country they live in and identify with becomes bigger and more powerful then they can feel proud. And this feeling is all they are after, not any tangible benefits.
English

It's always darkly amusing to read statements from Russian military bloggers about the supposed importance of achieving the so-called “Istanbul document’s” goals: the withdrawal of Ukrainian forces, renunciation of NATO membership, recognition of Crimea, and so on. This is amusing because the average Russian gains absolutely nothing from these outcomes.
How do these bloggers imagine that achieving these goals would improve their lives? Do they think the Kremlin’s elite—who have been looting the country for 25 years—will suddenly turn generous to reward veterans? Hardly. The same officials who profited from this war will keep on looting, and they’ll likely crack down on the very soldiers who fought for them; they’re considered dangerous, especially since many were even recruited from prisons.
Putin has created an economy where, in a country as resource-rich as Russia, the average salary hovers around $400. This forces thousands to risk certain death from drones and relentless assaults for the promise of around $2,000 a month. For that, they’re willing to be sent into meat-grinder attacks.
Yes, Ukrainians are dying too, but they’ll be honored as heroes for generations; their sacrifices will be remembered for centuries. But who will remember the countless Russian infantry sent as cannon fodder? They’ll disappear without recognition, lost to history.

@frlydensmith Also important from her perspective to be a visible nationalist First Minister in GB and not allow the DUP to continue the impression there that they are the main party in NI.
English

Michelle O'Neill has become the first senior Sinn Féin figure to take part in an official #RemembranceSunday ceremony.
The First Minister laid a laurel wreath at Belfast's Cenotaph.
A powerful gesture that shows peace and reconciliation is possible.
