We’re lucky to have a top-notch hospital and great partner in public safety! The team at Arroyo Grande Hospital take excellent care of our community and our police department. It was a fun night of friends, comedy, and raising funds for the A.G. COMMUNITY HOSPITAL FOUNDATION.

City Manager Matthew Bronson, ICMA-CM and I were on hand to help kick off the Clovis Police Department Sergeant workshop being held here in Grover Beach! Such a great group of professionals in that room!

Today’s check-in meeting with my boss, City Manager Matt Bronson, was pretty awesome! We took the cart out for a cruise around Grover Beach. We spoke with community members and enjoyed the 70 degree weather. Best meeting I had all day!

I am extremely grateful to City Manager Matt Bronson and our City Council for their continued support and for ensuring we have access to the best equipment available to serve and protect our community.

The Taser 10 represents a significant advancement in less-lethal technology. With the capability to deploy up to 10 probes and engage from distances of up to 45 feet, it provides officers with increased options for de-escalation and helps reduce the likelihood of lethal force.

GBPD remains committed to investing in modern technology and tools that enhance safety for both our community and the officers who serve it. I’m pleased to share that, as of last week, Grover Beach Police Department officers are now trained and equipped with the Taser 10.
