@Allafricanlgbtq It’s ridiculous to think. Nigeria passed theirs in 2014 so I can understand but for Ghana to do this at this time. It’s ridiculous

@RedMedia_us In my dead ass country where corruption is the leading problem, our punishment is 14 years in prison and many and many a times you won’t even get the chance to even go to prison, they will rather kill you

💔#SayNoToHomophobia Ghana unfortunately joins the long list of underdeveloped African countries to ignore their social and economic problems to approve a bill criminalising the LGBTQ+ community. Identifying as lesbian, gay, bisexual transgender or queer can now be punished by up to three years' imprisonment.

Fellow LGBTIQ+ Africans in Ghana, My heart is heavy with worry about you. As a gay African watching from afar, I feel the deepening shadow of fear and persecution closing in on you. Today, 29 May 2026, Ghana’s Parliament passed the Human Sexual Rights and Family Values Bill, 2025, the notorious Anti-LGBTQ Bill. This law does not protect families; it wages war on human dignity. It criminalises who you are, who you love, and the simple act of existing openly. It breeds surveillance, shame, and state-sanctioned persecution in the name of “family values.” I join the chorus of outraged voices across Ghana, Africa, and the world in strongly condemning this dangerous and discriminatory bill. It is a witch hunt that betrays the very humanity Ghana claims to uphold. To His Excellency President John Dramani Mahama: Sir, do not sign this bill into law. Refuse it. Return it. Veto it. The LGBTIQ+ people of Ghana deserve respect, not criminalisation. They deserve their rights promoted and protected under the Constitution you swore to uphold. They deserve to live with full human dignity, free from shame, constant fear, blackmail, violence, and unending persecution simply for being who they are and loving who they love. To every LGBTIQ+ person in Ghana right now: You are not alone. You are seen. You are loved. You are valid. Your lives matter deeply. Hold on to your truth with fierce pride even in the darkness. The world is watching, and many of us stand ready to amplify your voices, support your safety, and fight alongside you until this tide turns. We will not be silent. We will not back down. Ghana can and must do better. In fierce solidarity and unyielding hope, Ronald Agaba Jr 🏳️‍🌈🇺🇬

I’m so confused… Gordon plays LW, Rashford plays LW. Gordon goes for £80m. Rashford goes for £30m. Both are basically Raphinha replacements. Why not go for Rashford, save up and strengthen the main issues in the team by getting a striker and defender?

🚨💣 BREAKING: Newcastle and Barcelona chiefs in confirmed discussions over a *potential* total package deal for Anthony Gordon that could reach £80m (€92m). Those close to a deal are hopeful of progress before the WC. Gordon wants Barça. @CraigHope_DM #Transfers 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁥󠁮󠁧󠁿🔥

This is the brother allegedly responsible for the killing of @SLUTTY_BEAST. AREWA Maybe people will finally understand how dangerous homophobic hatred can become when it is constantly normalised and encouraged. It makes people feel justified in taking queer lives.

The best part about this new wave of LGBTQ+ films? We’re no longer begging for crumbs. We’re getting full stories, complicated characters, and moments that will stay with us long after the credits roll. 🎬🏳️‍🌈 Upcoming / Must-Watch LGBTQ+ Films: • All of Us Strangers • Love Lies Bleeding • Drive-Away Dolls • Bottoms • Red, White & Royal Blue • Passages • Blue Jean • Fire Island • My Policeman • Aristotle and Dante Discover the Secrets of the Universe This isn’t just a watchlist—it’s a reminder of how far queer storytelling has come… and how much more there is to celebrate. ✨
