@NDMytp I didn't notice at the time, but it's already so slow anyway lol Hopefully we get an ideal version some day. It'd be great if they did a full remake/remaster. I always wished it got a DS remake like Mario 64. Even something bare minimum like 3D All Stars would be fine with me

@JimmyDPooper It's a shame bcos it's otherwise a good way to play. Hopefully it comes to NSO and they fix the issues like they did w Tooie. I should try to beat my N64 copy for comparison one day tbh (which runs even slower bcos it's PAL lol, maybe you noticed back when we all did battle mode)

Just beat DK 64 for the first time in about a decade, and also got 101% for the first time ever. I still think it's an absolutely fantastic game and I'll defend it to my grave. That being said, even my own nostalgia bias can't convince me that it's completely flawless...

@NDMytp Yeah, I never bought the Wii U version. I've heard about the issues it has there, so in hindsight I'm glad I didn't. I'm sure a lot of people played it there either for the first time or just most recently, so those added issues probably haven't helped it's reputation lol

@JimmyDPooper I assume you played on a real N64, prolly better off doing so bcos the Wii U vers's lack of slowdown breaks the game in places lol. You almost cant beat the second rabbit race or the Krazy Kong Klamour stages (the wiki claims the latter is impossible but I somehow managed it lol)

But that's about all I have for negatives. At least all the big complaints. It's otherwise still one of my all time favorite platformers. It looks great for the N64 (framerate aside), the characters are all fun & well defined, & it has easily my favorite N64 OST. I can't hate it.

Of course the absolute worst thing in the game is what everyone else always says: Beaver Bother. Every time I play the game it's somehow worse than I remember. I decided to time the 2 BB games in Creepy Castle, and it took almost exactly 30 minutes. So 2.25% of my total playtime.

Also played the game for the first time. It's not exactly a hidden gem or anything, but it's much better than the 48 on Metacritic would lead you to think. I can easily recommend it to any Regular Show fan with a 3DS. If nothing else, the OST's worth it youtu.be/GMeCquQz7LU?si…

Just finished rewatching Regular Show for the first time since it ended 9 years ago. Very happy to say that it absolutely holds up. Sure, it dips a bit in quality around season 6, but it pulls right back out in season 7. There isn't a single episode that I'd consider to be bad
