Wide open bite on pencils this morning. Fish ran from 15 to 26 pounds. Still can't pinpoint the bigger fish, but they are around.

50 Pounds or Bust.

All nighter turned up big numbers under the bright moon, but not much in the way of size. Did drag a 30# from the Canal at daybreak.

From Woods Hole to the East End of the Canal, bass have calamari on the menu. Slow pick last night despite good conditions, fish up to 33#.

Tough fishing tonight. Canal was very quiet.

Hard word this week for few fish. Had a 31 and a few in the 20s. Looking for one last push of good fish before summer patterns settle in.

Stung a monster last night, screaming current, good fish around. High hopes for tonight.

2009 Striperfest will be in Buzzard's Bay, MA, right on the Cape Cod Canal! Make plans to get to the Cape on October 3rd.

Broke in the new SSU1321MH last night. Excellent rod, perfect for heaving the big stuff.

Full moon tonight. Brown sharks and bronzebacks in the crosshairs this week. Of course will be looking for big bass as well.
