On this day, 50 years ago, in 1976, @ledzeppelin released their seventh studio album, the pivotal Presence, in the United Kingdom.

As a footnote to Physical Graffiti, I thought you might like to hear the original home demo, recorded in my studio at Plumpton Place of a piece of music that was going to surface as 10 Years Gone. I presented this rough mix to the band at Headley Grange in order to do this for real. Link Wray and Rumble stand alone at the pinnacle in the world of instrumentals and I was thrilled to stand on stage in New York with drummer Anton Fig and bassist Tim Givens at the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame to induct one of my heroes.

On this day in 2023, I was asked to induct Link Wray into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame @rockhall; a guitarist, instrumentalist and songwriter that l'd admired from the very first taste of the Rumble.

I heard of the passing of musician Chris Dreja, who passionately played with the iconic Yardbirds, on rhythm guitar and then the bass. I hadn’t seen him in a while, and I wish I had. RIP Chris.
