Wasn’t that long ago I got myself in to a really dark place and contemplated not being here anymore. My niece is one of the main reasons I walked away and kept going. Got my head in gear and reached out for support. Done as many hours as I could at work and strangely it was a coping mechanism. Recently got a promotion I never thought I’d get in a million years. This week was my first full week in the new role and it has been amazing and to top it off my niece came in to my work on Sunday which was a nice surprise and absolutely class because I’m in this position because of her. Suicide will never be an option for me again because I want to see my niece grow up and one day I want to look her in the eye and tell her about all the times she’s saved me. A good week at work and a decent week with my family. Few negatives but positives too. Enjoy the rest of your week all ❤️
