Was +$2,000 up. Closed the day +$312. Here's how I fumbled the bag on a funded account trying to recover drawdown 👇 Planned to trade outside my system. Long bias at NY open, April 15. Thesis: higher prices. Thesis was 100% right. Execution? Brutal. I kept entering. Trailing tight. Getting clipped at BE. Re-entering. Clipped again. Every arrow on this chart is me trying to outsmart the move instead of just holding. If I'd sat on my hands after entry #1? Christmas came early. Instead I death-by-a-thousand-cuts'd myself into a +$312 day on a move that should've been a five-figure print. The worst part? It's green. So my brain wants to call it a win. It's not. A green day that violates your plan is more dangerous than a red day that follows it. Because now you've trained yourself that breaking rules pays. Stick. To. The. Plan. Win or lose.
