It's an exciting time to be a Wilder. I would like to thank the entire Wilder Team and their loved ones for their incredible efforts over the past three years. The team has worked passionately and tirelessly—days, nights, weekends, holidays—pouring blood, sweat, and tears into this creation, while making significant personal sacrifices. This, all in order to see this truly WILD dream come alive! Thank you! I would like to thank the Wilder Community for sticking with us through the abyss, believing in us when the chips were down, when we made mistakes, and when timelines needed to shift. We would be nowhere without your support, accountability, and grace. Thank you for believing in us and giving us space to ship the highest quality product we are capable of! Genesis land is near, and it is unlike any other virtual product, metaverse, or game, that has come before it. It won't all roll out at once, but the major pieces are starting to integrate, and it is really happening. As many of you know, we could have sold land and made tens to hundreds of millions of dollars last cycle... but it didn't feel right. Other companies raised millions selling land before they even knew what they were selling. In many cases, the money went to their private companies and shareholders, where all of our revenue has gone to community controlled DAOs. Many of these projects failed, were actual scams, didn’t deliver, or were just underwhelming. The Wilders did it differently: 1. We delayed our land drop by 2+ years, going deep into the actual build, game, and economy design, to ensure that we could technically and artistically deliver on our vision. I don't want to get into all of the details, but we built five protocols that drive our onchain economy (collectively referred to as Metropolis), are on our third testnet for the rollout of our own high-throughput chain to run the onchain economy, and we built one of the most advanced procedural development pipelines in the gaming industry. All in order to create an AAA world many times the size, performance, and fidelity of any modern open-world game. This is not hyperbole; it's fact. 2. We envisioned not just building a video game or metaverse, but building an actual life-sized virtual city. Creating a state-of-the-art simulation surfing the cutting edge of what was technically possible at the time. We spent significant resources working on the economic design, resource economy, and urban planning with leading architects around the world, not to mention the immense and truly insane technical lift. 3. We found novel ways to unify our WILD token economy with every single virtual asset produced in Wilder World, creating an end-to-end virtual supply chain that is 100% onchain. This means every asset created inside Wilder World is the result of fundamental raw materials and specific conversion processes to create those industries and goods (vehicles, sneakers, hats, weapons, buildings, etc.). Originally, we had intended to have 10,000 Genesis plots, with only ~30-35% of the total supply going to Trinity Holders. In the end, to thank our community and show our gratitude, we reduced the island supply to 4,444, forgoing millions in revenue from our most coveted asset! Not only that, we allocated a total of 20% of the WILD supply and backed land with it! We did this because of how much we care about our supporters, and how much we care about the long-term success of Wilder World. We showed up every day. We have the receipts to prove it, with frequent game releases, Dev Logs, tweets, conference recaps, drops, and leaks, proving that we are one of the hardest-working teams in this space. We will not stop until our vision is achieved, and soon there will be too many of us to be ignored. Now, I would like to make a specific request to all Genesis Land Holders. I believe that Wilder Land is truly special. Do not think of this as the end, where you can make a quick buck. Think of this as a generational asset. Just as it is better in the real world to store your wealth in land, the same will be true for the virtual world and specifically how the Wilder World economy is designed. The best way to grow Wilder World and WILD, is to hold a long-term perspective. It's that simple. In other words: Don't sell, HODL. Don’t sell, build. Don’t sell, rent. Don’t sell, mine. Don’t sell, refinance! This is simple, but it is the key to building the number one metaverse and land project on the planet. If together, we hold a long-term perspective and vision for this city, we will quickly become the number one virtual land project in the world, with other parts of the project that will follow.
