@OptaJoe By Opta’s own definition, a shot is a deliberate attempt towards goal with the intention of scoring. This free kick is clearly struck towards goal and was initially recorded as a shot before being removed. Would appreciate a review of this incident.

Hey @OptaJoe — can you review this please? Saka free kick in the 4th minute of B. Leverkusen vs Arsenal (11 March 2026). This was initially recorded as a shot but later removed. The video clearly shows a direct attempt towards goal. By definition, this should count as a shot.

@OptaAnalyst Please review how you grade the shots market. The UEFA site shows that at the 4th minute Bukayo Saka took a free kick directly at goal, clearly a shot (off target). You counted it and then removed it. Recheck your methodology. This is costing honest bettors money.
