First job for Mozza has to be finding a way to make this lot look like they can score from open play.
It’s been the same story for the last ten games. We huff and puff, maybe have a bit of possession, but where are the goals actually coming from?
You can’t rely on scraps and set pieces every single week if you’re trying to win games and scrape enough points to stay up.
Right now we just don’t look like we’ve got that spark. There’s no real incision, no one taking responsibility in the final third, no proper cutting edge. That’s the worrying bit.
I genuinely hope he’s got something up his sleeve because unless we start creating and putting chances away from open play, we’re asking for trouble. You don’t stay in this league without goals. It’s as simple as that.
