All of you people putting "likes and retweets doesn't equal endorsements" must realize how stupid that sounds. Yes, we get that you're trying to distance yourself just in case something goes bad... But you're literally saying "I like what you're saying enough to repeat it"

@erat_perfect @TheJoeySwoll ... I'm your backyard. You and 10 of your friends can jump on that deck without problem. If you want under your deck and applied that same force upwards on the bottom of the deck, that board is going to fly up and separate because it's not intended for that

@erat_perfect @TheJoeySwoll Sigh... I have to stop getting sucked in... Last message for sure then you can say whatever you like. The force is the same, the impact of the force on the machine is different because it's engineered for the weight and force to be on top pushing downward... You have a deck...

@erat_perfect @TheJoeySwoll It's not the same and again. Not the point. It's built and engineered to be used in a certain way, and no, it's not the same whether you pound 300 pounds of force pushing down or pushing up. Not regular wear and tear. Anyway time for me to move on clearly. Gnight

@JimmysBackAgain @TheJoeySwoll There is a video of him using 300 or so loaded on the bar and not being able to move it So he is generating less than 300 pounds of force So yes, it’s less damaging than a heavy rack pull The bar doesn’t know if it’s pulled up or dropped down

@erat_perfect @TheJoeySwoll You don't know that. Maybe you are right, maybe not. The point though, is that while I agree 100% that regular wear and tear are the cost of doing business, if something DID break as a result of improper use, then it's legitimate to expect the user to pay for it.

@erat_perfect @TheJoeySwoll Absolutely not is that even in the realm of "normal wear and tear" for the obvious fact that the equipment is not designed for that and it's LITERALLY not normal activity for it. Hell, the girl even explains why.

@JimmysBackAgain @TheJoeySwoll It’s within the realm, probably similar to heavy deadlifts. The bar and the arms are metal, not glass It’s more than someone doing a back squat It less than someone doing heavy rack pulls

Kinda blows my mind how gyms have psyoped customers into thinking a barbell being damaged is some huge financial burden The very best barbells cost like $1,000 and your gym isn’t using them. They are using regular ones which cost a couple hundred. Ya don’t damage the equipment on purpose, but regular wear and tear should just be a cost of business

@Loricatty @DawnsMission Except that's a difference in being open to adjustments and changes as new information arises. However, there are things that absolutely can be dismissed. The Earth is not flat to matter how much discourse a flat-Earther says.

IF I COULD GO BACK… I would NEVER vaccinate my kids. I knew the COVID shot was dangerous. I refused it. Dr. Peter McCullough says the exact same: He wouldn’t vaccinate himself or his kids. “A healthy child today is better off with ZERO vaccines."

@Loricatty @DawnsMission McCullough is now considered a joke because of what he's become from a scientific and medical perspective along with the individuals he associates with (such as Hulscher). Lmao... Critical thinker.

@JimmysBackAgain @DawnsMission Mccullough was ousted because he didn't jump on the vax bandwagon, proving he was a critical thinker who couldn't be bought. I bet you STILL think 6 feet apart was scientific because shills told you it was. 🤣

Just picked up some takeout at my favourite family owned Chinese restaurant. Asked the son of one of the owners if they’d had a chance to sign the Alberta Independence Petition yet. His response: “Hell ya! My whole family signed it.” Seems like Chinese Albertans hate Canadian Chinese Communism as much or more than the rest of us! #AlbertaIndependance

If Alberta does not achieve independence through the October 19 referendum, many more high income taxpayers and job creators will be leaving in even larger numbers.
THE OFFICIAL RECORD@SatireSquadHQ

Those Who Can Leave Canada Are Leaving.—The Rest Will Pay the Price. The Bank of Canada Just Confirmed It Canada finally found a way to boost exports. It’s exporting its best people. A Bank of Canada study shows 40% of Canadians capable of reaching top 1% U.S. earnings have already left for the United States. Another 30–50% of the next tier? Also gone. Not the struggling. Not the average. The youngest, most educated, highest-earning Canadians many in their prime working years are leaving. And the economy is noticing. GDP per capita has barely grown in a decade while the U.S. surged ahead. Canada has now fallen below the OECD average for the first time on record. But don’t worry government is growing. Spending has climbed from 38% to 45% of the economy. Programs expand. Costs rise. Results… pending. It’s a simple model. Lose your highest producers. Keep your highest costs. And then act surprised when growth disappears. “We need to attract talent,” policymakers say. We already did. They just left. And those who stay? They’ll likely spend the next decade working harder for less paying more into a system that keeps growing, and delivering less back. Because when the people who drive growth leave, what’s left isn’t just slower. It’s poorer.
