@ChansOtherRoom Yes, agreed!! Leaves a lot more flexibility! I’ve definitely changed things that have made important impacts before!

@JinAlike_ Definitely way less stressful! I’ve also found myself occasionally changing semi-important stuff in beginning chapters once I edit the whole thing and/or get a spark of new inspiration for something. Which would be difficult to do if the first few chapters were already posted

Some authors write and edit ahead of time????? I myself have been working on a 100k plus fic for over a year and half now, which is why when it’s ready for posting the chapter updates are gonna be hella consistent. Not everyone posts in writing real time.

@ChansOtherRoom Yeah, it’s way less stressful once you have things prepped and ready imo. I always knew I would stress so bad if I was posting and writing at the same time so I have always made sure to finish writing and editing before posting hahaha.

@JinAlike_ I used to post as I finished each chapter (and occasionally still do for multi chaptered fics), but starting c0mms had me start the habit of finishing all the writing (and editing) before posting anything and I definitely prefer it .
