Similar to the aerial, a front aerial is a no-hand front walk-over. Yet this tumbling technique requires flexibility and strength in the lower back and core. Beginning with a forward lunge, the dancer then kicks one leg back into a split for rotation while pushing off the ground with the other leg for lift. Upon landing, the dancer then goes into a one-legged bridge before arching the back to gracefully complete the technique.
