In the world of modern hardware, executing transactions one-by-one (like Ethereum) is no longer fashionable. Enter Parallel Execution. To increase throughput and lower costs, blockchains now process multiple transactions at once. But there’s a catch: Correctness Imagine an account with 100 Transaction Asubtracts 30. Transaction B adds 50 inaseqential world you always 120. Safe, right?. In "naive" parallel execution, both transactions might read 100 at the same time 150. You just accidentally "printed" money. This is a Conflict when two transactions touch the same state at the same time. Solving this without losing speed is called Concurrency Control.
