Dear Igbo men, for starters, this man is NOT MARRIED. If you like, listen to people like this and with your own hands destroy what differentiates you from men from other tribes. Most of these men were raised in homes where their fathers sit back and watch their women perish.
Maxvayshia™@maxvayshia

Igbo men overpamper their women. When you give a woman everything she needs and doesn’t need, she becomes idle and her idle mind starts wandering to dark places it should never have wandered into. It becomes the workshop of the devil. Hustling and hardworking women have no time for feminism.

Says an Isoko man whose village people arrange rape festival to assault their women. Why wouldn't you ask your women to follow the unfortunate Igbo men who may end up with your sexually brutalized and vandalized sister C/O 'Rape Festival '?
The Agric guy@RealFotbal

Igbo women terrible reputation did not start today. As an Isoko man from Delta state, young men were advised to stay away from Igbo women while young girls were told that Igbo men are the best for marriage since they take care of their women

Our children at FUTO were attacked. Our children at the Federal University of Technology Owerri were attacked. I want us to recognize the gravity of this monstrosity. This is no time for memes or jokes. This is time for action.

If I am a man and mistakenly fall for and marry a woman who ended up in the bed of my fellow man, I will quietly send her away and move on with my life. It shows weakness discussing your marital affairs on SM. Any discussions on the details should be with family and friends.

If there’s one phrase I had to decondition myself from, it’s this “man up” rhetoric. WE DIDN’T INHERIT THE SILENCE OF OUR FATHERS! He has his reasons for tweeting about his divorce and it’s okay.

Unpopular opinion: “God bless women” sounds like 1. They are making a huge sacrifice birthing children and is something they didn’t want themselves - false. 2. They acquired that ability themselves - False. They are naturally made to go through all that as it is basically their nature, granted to them by their Creator. It is something they want and wish for. Not a sacrifice to favour anyone. If awe is to be shown, it is towards the amazing awesomeness of the Almighty.

There are outstanding professors in some of our universities who have held on integrity for decades and have tutored students who are doing great things. They are seldom remembered. We will identify them and honour them. Education and excellence must gain back its place.

There's a woman in Owerri, her husband was doing so well when he married her. They both agreed she would stay home to have their children and cater to them until they entered boarding houses. Unfortunately, 6 years into the marriage, with 2 sons, stroke struck the husband and he became somewhat bedridden. She asked her younger sister to come stay with and assist her. She dusted her certificate and started hunting for a job, that she didn't want them to exhaust all her husband had saved before she started earning. So this lady would take care of her husband while her sister helped her with the children. The sister had to pause her education and started learning sewing so she could always be available for her nephews. This woman single handedly stood in a gap for her husband. She was always there, for hospital visits, for PTA meetings, sharing quality moments with her husband and sometimes they would cry together. Because she wanted her boys to bond with their dad and be present in his life she did not send them to boarding houses as initially agreed. Whenever they returned from school, they spend time with their father and assist him in some things. For 15 years she held on to God. Today, her husband is healed. On the day of Thanksgiving service they had for him, he gave a speech and called his wife, the best decision he made in his life. She cried out her heart that day. She said the worst form of torture is taking care of your husband with fear that he could die any minute. That her heart was always beating fast even when she prayed and fasted. But God said it wasn't his time. Then the man said something that stayed with people..."You can never truly know who you want to get married to, we just take the step, follow our emotions and intuition and go ahead. The true test of a chosen partner's character is when calamity befalls you. My marriage has tested my wife and she passed. I feel bad that the test ran for over a decade." There are women and there are women.
