@RepJackKimble Congressman Kimble, all due respect and I am in your district, it’s very good and righteous that Vanilla Ice didn’t perform. I remember him from the 1980s and I had his haircut. Rad!
English

Wow, Obama couldn't even get Vanilla Ice to perform. #Obamalibrary
English

@Suzierizzo1 Sure. But only if I were in college and not high school and it was the early 1970s. I was in hs in the late 1970s. It blew.
English

@PaulleyTicks @realTuckFrumper 🤣🤣🤣 Oh my god. I have been chronically online for 10 years and sometimes found PT’s AI too far. But, lol. Masterpiece.

@fiago7 Dip down into Pennsylvania talked to some Amish people. It would be interesting to compare dialect. Beliefs are odd and superfundy but just go to roadside stand in Lancaster County. You should be there in time for corn on the cob. It has some of the best soil in the country.

@RebeccaMtn @nicksortor Y’all can’t handle a strong Black woman. The Michelle Obama ridiculousness, the fact that you couldn’t handle the idea of a Black female president. (And, oh, how much better off we would be!)
English

🔥 Whoopi Goldberg just tried claiming the Trump admin is CASTING ASIDE black people, and JD Vance is NOT having it
WHOOPI: What did black people do to this administration to make you stigmatize folks of color?!
VANCE: "Look at Washington, DC, one of the most democratic and one of the BLACKEST—by share of population—cities, has seen a RADICAL decrease in violent crime and sexual assault and murders.
We have tried to take the crime issue seriously in part because we believe EVERYBODY, whether you are black or white or rich or poor, deserves to live in a safe neighborhood."
The race hustling is TOTAL BS. And it doesn't work on reasonable people anymore.
English

@BeschlossDC Yes. Thought it was corny. But at 14, thought everything was. Wanted warts-and-all AmH. Grew up in PA; field trips to Gburg/Harper’s Ferry. Rem hearing that Southerners were still “fighting the war” and their textbooks said South won. Now realize war never really did end, sadly.
English

@Irina_exh If you were truly “open-minded” you would say “Democratic women” and know that’s a dog whistle used for decades. Along with ka-MA-la. Do some reseearch, girl.

@cormacdesigns @__Injaneb96 I love Spain. I’m a night owl. You go out to dinner at 10 or 11 at night, then go out for drinks, sleep in till 1:00 pm and realize you hadn’t slept the day away. You could go to have a meal, go to museums, go to the markets, take a boat ride. Take a nap. Then go out at 10 pm.
English

@__Injaneb96 I went to Spain in 2016 and our apartment had no AC or even a fan, nor was there any air flow from the window. Desperately searched around to buy a fan. Eventually found a department store and the only thing they had was tiny little desk fan the size of my fist 🥵

Americans have really become desensitized to how good they have it.
During my summer internship in Germany in 2018, I learned that the hard way. If you forgot to buy groceries on Saturday, you were out of luck, everything shut down on Sundays, so you’d go hungry until Monday.
Even during the week, if you left work a little late and missed the 8 p.m. cutoff, every grocery store in town was already closed.
On top of that, the food in the small town where I lived (Saarbrücken) was pretty terrible.
After that experience, I moved to the U.S. for grad school and I was genuinely mind-blown.
The abundance, convenience, and quality of everything felt almost unreal by comparison.

World Cup tourists fall in love with middle America — raving about Waffle House at 1 a.m., Buc-ee's gas stations, and strangers driving them to stadiums in the rain. Oxford Economics expects 1.24 million international visitors for the tournament, and their viral posts are showcasing a side of the country most foreign media never covers.

@autumndreams01 @kangaroos991 Well, sure. I remember when Twin Towers were built and how ugly ppl said they were. If only that remained what they were known for. Now I see ridic tall, skinny “billionaire’s row” buildings in Central Park here. Empire State and Chrysler still among the most beautiful ever.

@WABJDC @MjedwarMary @DCNewsNow Now do the hotel in Chicago. His ugly name in letters so large the architect didnt want to do it are a blot on one of the most beautiful skylines in the country.

@iqrafatma1278 My 1992 wedding dress was a Jessica McClintock. I paid $300 for it. It’s still the most I’ve ever paid for a dress 34 years later. I always thought spending money on clothes was stupid. It was a beautiful dress and still doesn’t look dated. I still have the dress and the husband.

@GaryPetersonUSA Lol. It seems the internet age of 90 percent of the people responding on this thread is about 1 year. I can vouch that Gary is a true patriot. Not only are his AI skills incredible, but you should have seen his paintings a few years back. I would be proud to own one.

@CoachPapaJohn I love London and Chicago equally. Prob my two favorites cities on Earth and certainly the 2 I’ve been to the most. Londoners tend to hate London. Chicagoans love Chicago. They don’t have the history/culture of London (who does among English-speaking cities), but they have heart.

@GaryPetersonUSA I wish people would be a little sharper on the uptake. Thank you, GP, for making me proud. Your artwork is always an inspiration.
