During EMS Week and on Save A Life Day, we were reminded of why this work matters. 💙 Our crew had the opportunity to meet a patient they helped resuscitate after a cardiac arrest event. After making his recovery, he wanted to meet the crew who helped save his life. @jocogovNC

Billy Byrd, Shirley Byrd, Connie Grady, Jeremy Beal, and Marvin Parrish were all inducted in a special ceremony with family, friends, and EMS leadership. Their plaques will be on display at the Hall of Fame in the Smithfield EMS station.

Kick off #hurricanepreparednessweek by restocking your "go bag!" 🎒 Preparedness doesn’t have to be expensive or overwhelming. We restocked our kit at Dollar Tree for under $20. @jocogovNC

Today is Administrative Professionals Day and we’re celebrating those who keep everything running behind the scenes. 🎉 @jocogovNC

By receiving additional training on behavioral health, Johnston County Paramedics have been able to offer needed services to those suffering from behavioral crisis and substance abuse.

Johnston County EMS was recognized by Alliance Health as 2025 CIT Champions of the Year. Our EMS Division supports the CIT program by training paramedics in this specialized topic. @jocogovNC

We have the privilege of working side-by-side with Johnston County 911 every single day to serve our community. They answer the call, coordinate response, and ensure our residents get the help they need when it matters most.
