All being well back to painting and drawing in April

Jim Henson once explained that Kermit the Frog was nothing more than felt, a few seams, and two ping-pong balls for eyes. Yet through Henson’s voice, movement, and personality, the simple puppet somehow felt completely alive.

My sculpture at the client house makes me realise that this isn’t just an object, it’s an energy introduced into the space. A reminder that even in the most composed environments, there’s always room for expression, spontaneity, and a bit of rebellion.

TILE TABLEAU Fresh from the kiln 3rd firing! Saggar fired with oxides, fruit peels, wire &hay! puzzled together suggested this dance! the characters were painted on with more oxides, glazes &pigments! - final result and magic movement between clay/humans/chance and intuition!

Yesterdays 'Mindful drawing' @Ardsarts Class did a series of exercises inspired by process/generative art and the work of Hans Arp, Yoko Ono and Sol de Witt. With process as the focus of drawing it becomes almost meditative and relaxing #Mindful #Drawing
