Man the original 1999 Elias illustration by Jon Ranheimsæter goes so hard. More noticable inspiration from tugs and Theodore tugboat with the eyes. It’s a shame they didn’t go with this style. It’s so charming

This doesn’t mean all on every slim and flat chested characters. Im not that hypocritical biased. Some do look nice. Idk maybe I got tired of too much of that for others. And want some accuracy because I do genuinely think some look better with their OG bodytype

Minor pet peeve rant. I like busty women too, but golly I don’t think applying that to every female character works. My art here doesn’t really help illustrate it well, but good example is like Pearl from SU. I don’t think her being busty and curvy looks good for me.
