#GAC 🇫🇮🇪🇺 Minister Joakim Strand on #cohesion fund reallocations: The dual-use aspect must be considered across all funding instruments. In Finland, reallocations have focused on the defence industry, supporting infrastructure, and military mobility.

Constructive exchange of views and meetings today in Helsinki with the Parliament’s Grand Committee @SuomenEduskunta, the Minister of Economic Affairs @SakariPuisto and the Minister of European Affairs, @Jocke_Strand. 🇫🇮🇪🇺 🤝I had the opportunity to discuss our shared priorities on transport, infrastructure projects, tourism, competitiveness, connectivity, and strengthening European cooperation in the current geopolitical context. ⚓ I also handed over an EU grant under the Alternative Fuels Infrastructure Facility, to support sustainable onshore power supply (OPS) in Finnish ports. Another milestone for #CEFTransport, for a sustainable & competitive maritime transport in Europe!
