@Asakemijimi Sponsoring? Abi they are mostly behind the kidnappings happening in the SW. Saw a different picture of this man in the bush before they Kpai’d him and the dressing wasn’t giving Fulani. How about the ones that brought cartel to Ogun state. Is there anything they can’t do?

Losing to Leeds United after one month of not playing, after one month of “intensive training” is not a problem because it’s not Ruben Amorim. 😂 Suddenly everyone has forgotten that. The hatred is really real and I know the exact same quantity to measure out next season.

He wasn’t bad because he beat city at Etihad He wasn’t bad because he knocked Arsenal out of the FA cup at the Emirates Stadium He wasn’t bad because he beat Liverpool at Anfield which no manager had done in a decade He wasn’t bad because he went unbeaten in the Europa league until the final He wasn’t bad because he set up the dressing room He wasn’t bad because he prioritized improving all the players He was bad because he lost to spurs in a final He was bad because he finished 15th He was bad because he lost to Grimsby He was bad because he had the lowest win percentage But what did he do? He accepted and took responsibility, promising he would do better. And he had already started doing better and needed more backing from the club, needed more backing in terms of recruitments but the same board that wanted him to succeed declined and he called them out that led to his sacking. I just wish Ruben Amorim won’t be our last good manager post Sir Alex.

We have acknowledged Mene Ogidi family request to see his remains. We are treating their grief with the importance it deserves. Mene Ogidi’s body is currently in the mortuary. Given the circumstances of this case, an autopsy is required to ensure justice is based on complete and reliable facts. We will support and keep the family informed throughout this process. 🚨When Andoni Iraola took over AFC Bournemouth, they finished 15th the previous season and he took them to 12th in his first full season. The season was widely considered a major success, as Iraola guided the club to a then-club record “48” points. This was a significant improvement from their 15th-place finish the year before. Beyond the points record, Andoni Iraola set a new club record for Bournemouth for goals scored in a Premier League season with 54 goals scored. Fast forward to now, Bournemouth sits 7th on the league, above Chelsea FC and they have an eye on Europe and this is Iraola’s last season with them. Huge achievement 👏 🚨Michael Carrick, on the other hand, took over at Middlesbrough when the club finished 21st in the championship the previous season. By the end of his First season, he finished 4th, which was impressive. After three seasons in charge, Carrick was unable to lead Boro back to the Premier League. While he reached the play-offs in his first year, the team finished 10th in his final season, missing out on the top six. The club pursued him after a disappointing end to the 24/25 championship season. - Andoni Iraola moved AFC Bournemouth from 15th to 7th in 3 years. - Michael Carrick moved Middlesbrough from 21st to 10th in 3 years -Andoni Iraola refused to extend his contract with AFC Bournemouth - Michael Carried was Sacked by the Middlesbrough board. -Andoni Iraola’s success at AFC Bournemouth was slow and progressive - Michael Carrick’s run at Middlesbrough was quick and didn’t end well on the long run. I’m sure Manchester United Board would choose wisely and not chase after quickies.

DID YOU KNOW? The Greater Aba Development Authority (GADA)(inspired by Peter Mbah—Enugu state governor) is a government agency established by the Abia State Government to drive the rapid development of Aba, one of the country’s major commercial and industrial cities. GADA was created in December 2023 when Governor, Alex Otti, signed the enabling bill into law. It was the first law enacted by His Excellency, reflecting a strong commitment to revitalising Aba as an economic hub. The authority was established because Aba, often described as the commercial nerve centre of Abia State, required special institutional focus to address infrastructure decay and unlock its economic potential. GADA covers 5 Local Government Areas which includes: Aba North, Aba South, Osisioma Ngwa, Obingwa, and Ugwunagbo. Since creation, GADA has spearheaded Urban infrastructure development (roads, drainage, public facilities), Environmental management and urban planning enforcement, enforcing building regulations and urban standards, Improvement of ease of doing business and Promoting Aba as a centre for manufacturing, trade, and small-scale Industries. GADA was inspired by Peter Mbah. #GADA

He fled to Nigeria, thinking he would be safe. He was wrong. In June 2018, Joshua Boadu was murdered in the United Kingdom. The suspect, Matthew Chukwuemeka Adebiyi, escaped to Nigeria, thinking that being far away would keep him from facing justice. For six years, he believed he was safe. But those years would be his last spent in freedom. After UK authorities made a formal extradition request in September 2024, INTERPOL NCB Abuja responded quickly. Adebiyi was arrested on January 23, 2025, and extradition proceedings started at the Federal High Court in Lagos. On February 16, 2026, Justice A.O. Faji approved the extradition. On April 14, 2026, at Murtala Mohammed International Airport in Lagos, he was handed over to UK law enforcement. He finally faced the justice he had tried to avoid. He also faces charges of supplying crack cocaine in the UK between 2017 and 2018. Joshua Boadu's family waited nearly eight years for this day. Today, the Nigeria Police Force and INTERPOL NCB Abuja made it possible. The Inspector General of Police, IGP Olatunji Rilwan Disu, psc(+), NPM, has a clear message: Nigeria is not a hiding place. It is not a refuge for fugitives. No border, distance or time will stop the Force from working with the global community to deliver justice. No matter where you go, justice will find you.

NPF EXTRADITES FUGITIVE TO UK FOR MURDER AND DRUG TRAFFICKING, IGP DISU REAFFIRMS COMMITMENT TO GLOBAL COLLABORATION The Nigeria Police Force, through the INTERPOL National Central Bureau (NCB) Abuja, has successfully facilitated the extradition of one Matthew Chukwuemeka Adebiyi to the United Kingdom to face charges bordering on murder and drug trafficking. The extradition followed a formal request by United Kingdom authorities in September 2024 to locate, arrest, and extradite the fugitive over his alleged involvement in the murder of one Joshua Boadu on 18th June 2018, after which he fled to Nigeria to evade arrest. He was also alleged to have been involved in the supply of crack cocaine, a Class-A controlled drug, between October 2017 and March 2018 in the United Kingdom. The suspect was arrested on 23rd January 2025 by operatives of the INTERPOL NCB Abuja, following which extradition proceedings were initiated at the Federal High Court, Lagos Judicial Division, in Suit No. FHC/L/CS/416/2025. On 16th February 2026, Honourable Justice A.O. Faji granted the application for his extradition in accordance with the Extradition Act, Cap E25, Laws of the Federation of Nigeria, 2004. Pursuant to the court order and the execution of a surrender warrant by the relevant Nigerian authorities, the fugitive was formally handed over to United Kingdom law enforcement officials on 14th April 2026 at the Murtala Mohammed International Airport, Lagos, for diligent prosecution. IGP Olatunji Rilwan Disu, psc(+), NPM, reiterates the commitment of the Nigeria Police Force to strengthening international police cooperation and ensuring that Nigeria does not serve as a safe haven for fugitives. At Afule, stone base has been successfully completed which is a crucial stage in ensuring durability of the road Attention has shifted to the road shoulders where rigid pavement is ongoing. This will not only improve pedestrian movement but also enhance the overall road structure

@olaofafrica_001 @myabiadaily That's why we have 3 developmental Agencies backed up by the laws of the state, they are Gada for Aba, Abia South, Umuahia Capital Development Authority for Umuahia and Abia central, and Goda for Ohafia and Abia North. The 3 Agencies were established by the state government.

@myabiadaily Looks promising. But we’ve seen cities improve physically and still decline systemically. The real question is: Is there a long-term urban plan guiding this growth?
