@NeilHumphreys And I’m always tickled by how stand up gets over-simplified 😅. Stand-up is risky by nature. The job is make them laugh now. And the feedback is live. Plus, even if you fail, you still have to do the rest of your 7 minutes.

As a humour writer, etc, I'm always tickled when stand-up comedians think the only criteria is just to stand in front of a mic and shout edgy stuff. It's got to be funny, topical, relatable and hopefully empathetic and have a deserving target. This 'joke' has none of that.
