This is a huge issue within the prop firm space. A lot of traders believe a reason for their losses/breach of account is due to the firm they use. It's an easy scapegoat, They know what they are signing up for... They fail to recognise they are the issue. A carpenter never blames his tools.

I am getting so sick of seeing people blatantly breaking rules on prop firms and then the first thing they do is run to Twitter and play the victim! LEARN TO READ THE RULES BEFORE YOU BUY PROP ACCOUNTS!! Be better!

@jtrader This is the difference. Most traders force a position to try hit TP where as profitable traders will be patient waiting for a high quality set up to align with their bias.

Most traders want more trades. Professionals want better trades.

I GOT BANNED ON @TradingLucid story: I made a promise to my Discord we’d run a 0 → $10K challenge with a prop firm the community chose. They voted @TradingLucid So we ran it. From eval → funded → $10K payout request in just 10 days. Over $20K in total profits. All done LIVE teaching entries, stop losses, and full execution while people followed along and learned. Then… I got banned. All the accounts get closed Reason? “Fraudulent activity” because people were copying my trades. Let that sink in. If I was losing money, they’d have no issue. They’d gladly collect from me and everyone using their platform. But the moment we win? The moment we hit payout? Now it’s a problem. There are thousands of traders streaming, teaching, and having others follow along across YouTube, TikTok, Discord but somehow it’s only an issue when you’re actually profitable. Instead of honoring the payout, they labeled it fraud and shut it down. 0/10 experience. I was genuinely excited to work with them… but this showed me everything I needed to see. If you’re thinking about using them think twice.

@TheH0n3stTrader Everyone can sit behind a steering wheel, It doesn't mean they can drive the car... The difference is exceptional traders have developed a series of skills through experience, education and risk management which gives them an edge no matter the strategy the use.

If the trader is exceptional, every strategy they use will be extremely profitable.

@SpeculatorFL Exactly. Context before execution. The higher timeframe narrative should guide the lower timeframe entries. Without a higher timeframe bias, most traders are just reacting to noise. Establishing the narrative first makes every lower timeframe decision more intentional.

Don't start your analysis by looking for entries. Don't start your analysis by looking for smt divergences. Don't start your analysis by looking for candle ranges or orderblocks. Start it by determining the higher timeframe directional bias, start it by establishing a narrative.

@SpeculatorFL Great tweet Its important to understand how to enter a trade, how to build a bias and how to find invalidation levels. These can all be located on different time frames and help provide clarity on your position. Without a HTF Bias all the LTF data is noise.

1- Daily timeframe = bias and draw on liquidity. 2- 4h timeframe = key level and crt. 3- 15m timeframe = orderblock confirmation and smt. This is the best timeframe alignment for trading.

@RangeTrader_ Exactly, you can reduce risk from 1% to 0.25% however it will result in a higher profit. People chasing higher % gains will risk a low win rate which can then result in a unprofitable long term trader.
