WWTR never really had the problems TMS did with the PJ1 on the track, so it'll be interesting to see how this changes the racing on Saturday (and how many/which drivers go out to test out/rubber in the high line on Friday to begin with). Let's all hope for good weather!

@Aldermanjoe Couldn't make the mtg, but saw the announcement mentioned a presentation by BT. I thought convening a Bd of Freeholders was being pushed by a different group, though. Is the push for a Bd of Freeholders now being backed by the same folks who were behind BT? Thanks for clarifying!

One of the topics at the Tilles park neighborhood association meeting was better together The Muni League is leading the way to establish Bd of Freeholders. When they turn in the signatures, the election board has to certify them, then I have 10 days to appoint 9 members.

It's always heartening and exciting to see St. Louis land major events like this. We have top-notch facilities, plenty of activities for out-of-town visitors to have a great time while they're here, and a public who prove time after time that we want to support big-time events.

AMZN HQ2 was a Faustian deal all along. Glad St. Louis didn't get it. Our region is filled with passionate people working to make a difference. None of what we need most would be accomplished by billions in subsidies to what's already the world's most valuable public company.
