@JoeByronbrfc This one feels different as the owners are making the same mistakes so not learning. I also don’t have confidence we recover if we go down as the losses finically would be massive and felt harder

@brfcrover1 Yeah, back then we did do the double over Newcastle too. Plus more players to relate to like Mulgrew, Bennett, Graham etc.
There was only a five point drop off from the season before too. This season, it could be a 15+ point drop off😅

@JoeByronbrfc close for me but just due to the abysmal summer and the lack of personality from these players I’d say this season. It wouldn’t be close tho if we didn’t do double over Preston and some good away performances

@JE22_JCK Take it you missed the ‘in adversity’ bit. We haven’t had a whole lot of that, it’s our lowest point for upwards of 25 years, and the fans have responded to the situation, that’s all. We could pay your fans a fiver each and they wouldn’t sell 5k at our place🤷🏽♂️

I feel we are one of a few fanbases in the country that get better in adversity and understand the role we can play as fans. Everton and Blues the other two that really standout that way. Be hard pushed to find a second tier team in the away form we are in taking this following

Nobody’s ripping into him. But questions have to be asked about offering a new deal to a player who can now only average 5-10 games a season
