@Se_Railway thanks to the guards at st Pancras who watched me run for train only to let it leave 45 seconds before departure time. I was only person on platform!Spent my day in the operating theatre doing my best for others on off chance I may get home to see my family! Thanks

Just spent the last two Fridays working on complex colorectal cases with my friend Joe Curry at @GOSH. We learn so much from each other. I horrified him with the rectal set I brought along kindly borrowed from @UCLH. Spot the adult versus paediatric scissors.

I’ve learned that practicing good critical care is not fancy or flashy. I have a hard time convincing trainees that doing the basics well matters most. Supportive care and minimizing harm may seem boring, but man does it work when done right.

Waited for an hour and a half in cold rain hoping a local GP surgery might be able to vaccinate me. Was turned away as I had no appointment. My belief that the government cares about front line NHS staff is being severely tested.

@Se_Railway The advice currently been given by station staff at st Pancras is a joke.now on third train I was told was leaving first for ashford. Now told it was the first one I was on. Pathetic
