The first time I ever met @enjoifriend was at my first league cup back in 2018, I was playing Metagross GX and I paired up vs him playing Pikachu EX/Magnezone. I remember misplaying really bad and losing to him (although I made top cut and he didn't 🤭), and I even played vs his future wife Natalie (she was on Tapu Bulu/Vikavolt) at the same cup! Crazy because the cup was like 80+ people. They even ran out of seating and I had to play round 1 on a Warhammer table. 😆 Fun little bit of lore that buying this Pikachu EX card made me think of. ⚡️💭
