I’m seeing a lot of people complaining (I understand, but we have to look at the scenario), I have to remember that the production of a movie takes YEARS, and for Melanie to release it at the time of the album, she shouldn’t even have done a tour, the production doesn’t start just by writing and recording, producing a movie takes casting auditions, scenario production, costume design and world design, and all this demands TIME and MONEY. I understand that yall are upset, but it is a time-consuming and difficult process. Probably what happened: Melanie was negotiating for the realization of the project, and with the confirmation (probably receiving these days or a short time ago) she had to recalculate the route to already manage the logistics of the film. Please, let’s not turn this into another wave of hatred for Melanie (it’s not the case of the tweet below but it’s good to reinforce). If yall want to ask questions, as far as possible I will be open to answering them.

It’s so saddening that part of the HADES Tour has been cancelled, and my heart goes out to the fans affected by it. However, this needs to be handled respectfully please don’t spread negativity towards Melanie Martinez. We don’t know the full story. It could’ve been a last minute choice between the tour and the film, and she chose the film because she knew how desperately fans wanted it.🤍
