In Botswana if you overstay your visa their penalty is an equivalent of R12,23 per day, meaning R85,61 for the whole week. And their president is expecting South Africa that has an immigration crisis to follow this ridiculous example, is this a joke. R12,23 per day. 🙄🙄🙄

Banter aside we as South Africans need to be more careful with how we treat our fellow African brothers. As it is they already think we are pompous and aloof. Botswana opened its doors for us and hosted us so well and we still find things to nitpick about. It's distasteful.
