@LFCLaurie I didn’t say he was our only great player I said he was the face and was he not? When people remember the Klopp and Slot eras what player will they think of 1st? Salah played with better teams but why should we use that against him? Every time one of them left he remained great

That's just not true. Salah played alongside Van Dijk (arguably the best CB of the PL era), Alisson (arguably the best GK of the PL era), Robertson, Trent, Firmino, Mane etc and managed by one of the greatest in recent history. Genuine world class players. Gerrard was playing alongside Jon Flanagan, Stewart Downing, Paul Konchesky and managed by Roy Hodgson. I don't know why you're attempting to bring down Gerrard to prop up Salah. They're both two of the greatest in our history and you can make a case for either. Neither is right or wrong, so acting like "Salah is better objectively in every metric" is just stupid.

People calling Carra xenophobic because he didn't have Salah first is mental. Souness captained Liverpool to 3 European Cups, Rush is our highest ever goalscorer and people say Barnes was the most gifted to wear the shirt. People are acting like he put him behind a load of bums.

@JoeNo08 @LFCLaurie Gerrard is greatness. He pulled a pretty terrible Liverpool side to the most famous CL win of all time. You always felt Liverpool were with a chance if he was on the pitch. Gerrard was a superhero. In terms of greatness, he's above Salah.
