BREAKING: US Consumer Sentiment officially falls to its lowest level on record in data going back to 1952, down another -10% last month. Consumers now see inflation rising to 4.8% over the next 12 months. This puts the Consumer Sentiment index down -21% since February 2026, before the Iran War. Not even the 1980s saw Consumer Sentiment this low.

According to the latest major Pew Research survey (2023), 41% of U.S. adults under 30 have at least one tattoo, and 46% of those ages 30-49 do. For the 22-40 range, it's roughly in the 43-45% ballpark as a blend of those groups. Rates are notably higher among younger women (56% for 18-29). Data is U.S.-focused and hasn't been updated with a newer national survey since.
