@sage_stage Well, do you want to start with the billions of funding that helps pay for schools to function? Or maybe the allocated protections for equal education rights for various groups of children with Title protections? Either way, States can't fund it all or supercede Federal.

There are enough edtech products out there that serve almost every purpose you could imagine. Where educators need support is effective implementation. Classrooms are complicated. You can’t just throw a shiny new product into them and expect to see change. It isn’t that easy.

Why are we letting 18 yos sub in classrooms, but not letting college students going to school to BE EDUCATORS take open teaching positions in lieu of student teaching?? We learn best by doing. Give them a supervising teacher, require check-ins, & for the love of God pay them.

@NeilAndersonEdD Kids also need time to learn, grow, and explore. Everything is rushed in education. We need to build a foundation of a love of learning.

Some students need you to believe in them until they believe in themselves. Some adults do too.
