Mary Kay Cabot of Cleveland.com believes Carson Schwesinger is poised for a bigger defensive role in 2026, predicting the young linebacker will emerge as both a key playmaker and a vocal leader for the Browns.
"I think [Carson Schwesinger] is the future of the Cleveland Browns' defense just in terms of talent level, leadership, and all of those things. Myles's presence, at times, may have dwarfed a few other guys in terms of their on-field production, but also in being vocal leaders, speaking up at times, and taking the bull by the horns because it's hard to do that when you have a guy like Myles Garrett. A guy like Carson Schwesinger, I think he will find his voice this year, and we will hear more from him."
