When Caldwell came in i saw survival in two parts. First, get through a run of tough games still in touch with safety. Second, pick up wins in April from a very kind fixture list. He’s accomplished part one, and then some. #wafc

The Cardinals have far, FAR less draft capital than the Jets/Browns/Dolphins to trade up.
Again, the time to tank was three years ago. Not now.

Wilkinson and Williams are the two names not previously reported.
Wilkinson is a career backup RT who did a solid job stepping into a starting role for the Falcons last year. Williams is cheap D-line depth on a one-year deal.

We cannot continue to compare Malik Willis to Sam Darnold/Baker Mayfield.
Both Darnold and Mayfield started SEASONS of football before moving teams. Malik Willis hasn’t started a full season in 4 years and has quite literally zero extended proof he can be a starting QB.

@ClancysCorner Sounds a lot like Sam Darnold takes from last year. One year guaranteed money flyer on Willis who is young is worth it. Jacoby is who he is. Might as well take a chance. Plus, Monti isn’t going to make moves hoping to develop a guy for two or three years down the road.

I would be shocked if Jimmy Garoppolo is the planned starter for the Cardinals.
LaFleur was with him for four years in San Fran and three years in LA.
Only started one game in the last two seasons.
Already 34 with massive durability concerns. Gotta be the backup.
