Devastated about Diogo Jota. Tried to pay tribute here. A great guy and an inspiration. His parents were still paying subs for him to play for his local team at 16. If there’s any consolation it’s that he achieved more than he ever dreamed. skysports.com/football/news/…

Chelsea reportedly refusing to match Milan's very reasonable asking price for Mike Maignan, a clear upgrade and a goalkeeper who is amongst the best in the world, because they don't want to pay a "Club World Cup tax" Having bought 49 players under the Boehly Clearlake ownership... Including spending £42m on Joao Felix, £30m on Dewsbury-Hall, £20m on Jorgensen, £19m on Kellyman just last summer... Not to mention the amount wasted on Mudryk, Disasi, Badiashile, Ugochukwu, Sterling and Koulibaly amongst others during their ownership... Feels like one of the most avoidable errors of this mistake ridden era.

Very clear from Maresca’s XIs over the last few weeks that he’s prioritising the Conference League over Champions League qualification

Enzo Maresca started Palmer, Jackson, James, Sancho, Cucurella... And they lost to the 5th best side in Poland. I don't know how anyone can't be seriously concerned about this project's direction nearly 3 years in.

Another post-match error from Maresca. Not the first time he's suggested fans are wrong to question he and his players. Surely not deliberate, but the communication toward the fans is high-handed, condescending. They have a right to show they don't like what they're seeing

A moment in the first half when one fan in the east lower just shouted “You’re boring, Enzo”. Impression is the fans are behind the team but that the “environment” is simply down to the manager. Whether or not that’s fair it just doesn’t feel like an easy fit #cfc
