EA created an economy where basically everything you are able to pack is at or around discard value:
● Bronze Cards❌️ discard value
● Silver Cards❌️ discard value
● Gold Commons❌️ discard value
● Gold Rares❌️ discard value
● 83s/84s ❌️ discard value
● Higher rated fodder (87+)❌️ very low
● TOTWs ❌️ close to discard value
● chemistry Styles❌️ discard value/low
● manager Leagues❌️ discard value
● cheap Promo cards ❌️ discard value
● more expensive Promo cards✅️
➡️ but nearly impossible to pack!

@JoeTam247 How? Im not a point spender/creator who promotes points or whatever... should I stop playing the game? And then? All the big creators promoting points and spending points like crazy still in march are the only ones that can maybe causes a change with a boycott

I don't want to be super negative every post, but we need to talk about the requirements for almost everything on FC26. @EASports @EASFCDirect
To earn packs via gameplay, it's exhausting. It requires hours of time to complete 1 thing per week to give packs (or if you're @ZwebackHD and get 0 points in 3 hours of Rivals it might take days)
Then you release, JUST TODAY SBC's that require
- 1x 86 / 2x 87 / 3x 88 / 1x 89 (3 total TOTW) | Repeatable 3 times
- 2x 86, 2 TOTW Needed | Repeatable unlimited.
1 gives a MAX 88 Icon. The other gives a Min 88 Pick that is extremely unlikely to throw up anything of value. I'm seeing Seger, Foudy, Kroos 24/7 in these things.
That's just for today, let alone the insane volume of other wildly expansive SBCs on offer. You could play for a week and not have the ability to even complete 1 of the Icon Picks from the returns of the packs.
I get it, it's "to send us to the store" - where you can spend to get fodder, but even these packs are 500k / 3k FC Points for "1 of 2 90+ Player Pick, & an 85+ x10 included"
You can't even reasonably use store packs to get the masses of fodder needed for the masses of SBC's on offer.
I know the rebuttal from some - "you don't HAVE to do it all" - and that's so true, you don't have to. I would dare say unless you're willing to dump literally thousands in per week you CAN'T do it all, however this is a video game. I should have the OPTION to engage in ALL of the content if I want, just via playing the game. You find almost no other game outside of these UT modes in sports games where you're actively encouraged to pass up on content and it blows my mind. There's FOMO, and there's MT's, but then there is going out of your way to alienate your audience from even giving a damn to turn your game on.
