As a lifelong Stars fan who is 29 years old.
I am really emotional about potentially watching Benn’s last game as a Star. Many younger fans think of him as a goon or heel.
I watched him usher this franchise into what it is today. He was the transition from Brenden Morrow to the juggernaut it has become.
He won an Art Ross. For a few seasons, he was up there with prime Crosby and Ovechkin.
He won Gold in 2014 with team Canada.
I understand he is a polarizing player, and deserving of criticism lately, but please understand that he is a franchise legend.
I have watched him for 17 seasons. His jersey number should never be worn in Dallas ever again.
If you retire and never wear Victory Green again.

What they fail to mention is he’s got two other 40 goal scorers who he can pass the puck, too. Had he played the entire season, Mikko would be on a 72 assist pace over an 82 game season, which would be a career high in the that category. #TexasHockey

It seems to me that the only way some of the fleeing Democrats can avoid bribery charges is to not break quorum.
It seems that would eliminate any potential quid pro quo connected to any payment they received to deny a quorum and skip a vote.
